The next two LAN Parties we are having are 3/16 after movie night and the sponsored LAN party will be the Friday of Finals week (5/4).
If you aren't registered, please do! Seating will not matter for the Spring Break LAN party but WILL be enforced for the ++LAN.
ALSO -- Collin will be handling Movie Night this Friday the 9th, the movie will be Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. |

We will be setting up BEFORE movie night so we get it out of the way. Anyone who can help it shall be appreciated. I don't know the movie yet so don't ask, I'll announce it later.
!!! PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES !!!
It has been an issue previously and it is common knowledge that the CS area is passively ACM responsibility.
I am nobody's mother so please don't make me pick up after you. If I have to, I reserve the right to prohibit further participation of SIG-FUN events.
Also, I didn't wipe the list of previous registered users, however I did reset seating. If you were previously registered, I recommend you double check and pick a seat!

Remember, pre-registering to the event will mean a $5 attendance fee (the fee goes to pizza, as usual). I was lenient about this in the past, but if I print the sheet of attendees and you are not on the list, you'll be forced to pay $10.
YOU HAVE OVER A WEEK TO REGISTER SO DO IT NOW BEFORE YOU FORGET.

ACM LAN Party 10/29

Yes folks, it's about that time again (it's always that time), the LAN Party for this month will be held (officially) on Saturday, October 29th starting at 12PM Noon and going on until Noon the next day.
We will be doing setup BEFORE movie night (We will be watching Nightmare Before Christmas that night) at 4:30PM so please come and help out if you can!
Sign up at acmlanparty.com and pick a seat! It will be $5 if you register BEFORE NOON the day of, $10 otherwise. So go and register yourself right now!!
Lastly, we need a clean-up committee to help set the rooms back to normal, I would like to do this sometime after the usual food-run that happens around midnight. You all should be able to throw away your own trash, this is more to reorganize the tables
By the way, since is our Halloween LAN Party, costumes are entirely and wholeheartedly encouraged.

FIRST LAN PARTY FALL 2011!

Hey everyone!
The next LAN party is going to be the weekend of the 24th to 25th of September. We are anticipating the following large events: Starcraft 2, Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, and Left 4 Dead/Left 4 Dead 2. We will also be playing the following smaller events: Soldat, Track Mania, Rock Band, and Alien Swarm. If you still have suggestions on games to play (free or not) please send suggestions to jbarro3@uic.edu and tom@fatesunited.com. If you want a tournament to exist for a game please find someone to create the bracket and run the tournament. If you just want to have a group of people play a game that is also fine.
Prices will be 5 dollars if you register in advance or 10 dollars at the door. We hope to see you there! |

Less than a week till the LAN Party. It's actually this Saturday. Make sure you register for the LAN Party and also sign up for tournaments. At this moment, we only have one tournament which is Starcraft 2. Make sure that you read the instructions for the tournament. |
